What do you wish for?

For the lucky ones, they know and feel blessed to have discovered their passion in life and having the ability to live it. For many of us it is a constant frustration identifying who they are, what is their life purpose, what are they here to achieve and what do you wish for. Like a moving goal post, it’s a constant struggle with lots of drama, trying to look for evidence in their life that what they are doing is the correct path.

But perhaps the search for evidence is not outside of ourselves. We tend to slip into an unconscious routine, a habitual way of being that we forget to pay attention to our thoughts and feelings and the messages they are trying to tell us. You forget that if you want to create and draw an experience to yourself, you don’t look for the evidence of it occurring around you, you need to become it. For example, if you were searching for a way to be healed, you must feel the gratitude of being healed first. In other words, you feel so blessed and so grateful for your life that you forget you want to be healed and that is when the healing occurs.

To be in the experience of gratitude, you need to be feeling those feelings and the thoughts that endorse them and live it. If you are wondering why you are not healed because you think you are doing all the right things, then you are thinking from a space of lack.  If you want any new experience in your life, you need to be in that new energy, that new mindset all the time.  The feeling, the inner experience you are striving for is freedom and when it does not come on demand, it can be discouraging.

It is easy to default into unconscious patterns of trying to get your needs and wants met and force an outcome. You need to ask your heart what is driving your life and listen to your truth with innate honesty. If you want new results, then you need to bring your unconscious patterns to the surface and practice new behaviours and attitudes to manage your emotional responses. At your hardest, most uncomfortable, most frustrating moments, keep going. Demonstrate the actions and the practice of someone who has earned the freedom they want to experience and who feels the responsibility of being free.

If you are analysing your progress, you are reinforcing your sense of separateness which leads you to try harder because you are looking for something instead of being it. Shift your perspective inward and become aware of what your body is experiencing, what your thoughts are saying, what your heart is feeling and how they are creating your reality. Be in the art of constantly being in awareness, so much that you get so lost in the act of becoming that, that the act itself becomes the experience that your body is feeling.

If you truly want to change to get the things you wish for, you need to let go of the why, the when and stop trying to predict it.  Listen to your truth to what your heart is feeling, what your mind is thinking, what your body is experiencing, to be aware of your unconscious thoughts. Your spirit, your soul is constantly monitoring what you wish for and will present the serendipities in your life when you least expect it.
