Taking Control

In a time of uncertainty, transition or upheaval, we do not have much control over our external world, but we do have control over our internal world. When you view your inner landscape, you need to repeatedly self-regulate your thoughts and feelings. Engage in the practice of following your heart with love and compassion in the face of loss and setbacks. Repeat this constant state of awareness enough times and it will become part of your normal routine, an unconscious program built into your normal habit pattern.

Living in stress and survival, can lead to feelings of separation which raises your levels of cortisol that lead to entropy and disease. Sustaining elevated states of joy, love and wholeness will lead to greater degrees of healing, oneness and syntropy. The more you transcend your doubts and frustrations, the better you will feel and that will lead you out of your current reality.

Be in control by being mindful. Where you place your awareness is where you place your energy and make being mindful as a part of your normal routine of living your life. The side effects of being more aware will improve your overall wellbeing and relationships, to attract more synchronicities and positive experiences. The better you feel, the more aware you will be of new possibilities opening up to you, as well as the ones that have always been open to you, you just did not see them before.

This increased wave of awareness is going to lift others around you as well. Similar energy tends to attract the same frequencies and hence similar circumstances. If you can be a living example of this truth, you give your family and friends permission to model your behaviour. People do notice when you are different and either they no longer emulate your acts or decide not to associate with you anymore. That is how you change the culture around you, or they change you.

Small ripples can become great waves. Make the decision to take control of your inner world to have an influence over your outer environment. By constantly practicing being mindful of your thoughts and feelings, you can take control of your outer reality and make decisions on how you want your life to be.
